Our Team
Marissa Klegman – Camp Director
Marissa is passionate about Jewish camping as one of the best ways to ensure a Jewish future, and she is thrilled to joining the CSL team. She spent 11 summers as a camper, Unit Head (4 times!), and Director of Staff Development at Herzl Camp in Webster, WI. She comes to CSL with a background in both business and Jewish nonprofit. Most recently, Marissa worked at McKinsey & Company, leading client service teams focused on organizational performance, growth and marketing. Earlier in her career, Marissa worked for American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) where she led day to day operations for the AIPAC on Campus movement, expanding the AIPAC’s reach to more than 10,000 students on 200+ campuses.
Marissa graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College with a degree in Religion modified with Jewish Studies, and received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside of camp, Marissa and her husband Andrew enjoy watching Survivor, seeing who can get through airport security first, and off-season trips to Cape Cod (where they were married!)
